Located in eclectic Broad Ripple Village, Salon 6 is a unique and modern hair salon with a relaxed and contemporary atmosphere. We were founded in 2005 and have a multi-talented team of stylists who provide the latest fashionable haircuts and coloring. Our eco-friendly salon uses all natural products and is woman owned, LGBTQ+ friendly, and pandemic conscious.

While we're located in Broad Ripple, we serve many of our friends and neighbors from Downtown Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Lawrence, Zionsville, Anderson, and Plainfield!

Our emphasis on continuing education sets us apart from other salons. As trends change, we make sure our team is using the best techniques, new colors, and highest-quality products available. We offer services ranging from fashion colors, color melting, highlighting, balayage, and cuts, to waxing and events.

  • Amazing stylists, they really make you feel welcome here. It's not just about the hair (but everyone is very skilled at what they do!) but the whole experience from start to finish is lovely. Facilities are very tidy and have a great aesthetic! The head massages they do during the shampoo/conditioning are so relaxing. If I'm able to, I'll always come here to get my hair cut.

  • Growing out a pixie means you need a stylist who knows what they're doing to help the transition not make you crazy. Paul G is that person! The only person I have had cut my hair since growing it out and he always does a fantastic job. I see his clients before me leaving with gorgeous vivid colors and if I go back to dying he will 100% be the person I have do that as well. Paul is 10/10 the best hair stylist!

  • Really nice relaxing atmosphere. I felt completely comfortable. I typically have weird experiences getting haircuts because I'm a woman that prefers a men's cut or a really androgynous hair style. At a lot of places it ends up being me convincing a stylist not to fem it up too much. Here it was a non-issue, and she had good advice about what would look good. I was really impressed. Definitely going back.

  • I moved to Indy from San Francisco a few years ago. I had since been looking for a salon and stylist who can cut my hair right - do my layers like I want them. I discovered Salon 6 just searching online. Not knowing any of their stylists, I was booked with Heidi based on what I said I wanted done. Well, I have been going to her for haircuts ever since. She is this cute, petite, delicate looking girl but beware, she can do “mean” things with her scissors. She’s a highly skilled stylist who listens to what you want and consistently delivers.
